The Walk of Hope is a peace initiative which aims at spreading the message of non-violence, tolerance and solidarity; bringing people together and emphasising that what unifies us all as mankind is more fundamental than what separates us and that mutual understanding and dialogue lead to greater tolerance, gradually considering the well-being of others as our own. It was inspired by the Walk of Hope India.

Walk of Hope 2015-16 in India was a walkathon for peace and harmony by the Manav Ekta Mission which covered 7,500 kms from Kanyakumari to Kashmir (India). Led by Sri M, founder of Manav Ekta Mission, the journey spanned 16 months through 11 Indian states, bringing together citizens from all walks of life. Traversing the varied landscape of India, it sought a significantly restored nation—fit enough to be bequeathed to our future generations.

Walk of Hope Europe 2017 consists of two symbolic peace walks in Berlin and The Hague in the month of March 2017.

Sri M will be visiting Europe from March 17 – 31, 2017, with public interactions, Walks of Hope and a retreat planned during his visit.

Walk of Hope and the Education for the Underprivileged Children

EVERY CHILD IN THE WORLD SHOULD HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF EDUCATION

The Oneness of Humanity involves sharing our privileges. One of them is education. We are raising money for schools for underprivileged children. We start by helping the Satsang Vidyalaya School in India as part of the Walk of Hope Netherlands. On 30th March 1000 children and students are walking for the Oneness of Humanity in The Hague and to raise awareness for the privilege of education.

We need your help to raise € 10.000,-. With this money we will be able to provide schooling for 50 children for one year.

To simplify: for only € 5,- you can give the privilege of education to a child for 1 week! That means a month school for only € 20,-.
